112. Johann Konrad Hopfer
Johann Konrad Hopfer was born 26 February 1837 in Kuppingen, Herrenberg, Wuerttemberg, Germany. Like the other members of his family, after arriving in America, he became John Contrad HEPFER. John married Christina A. Stabler.

John took up farming in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Later, he moved to DeWitt Township, Clinton, Michigan buying: 40 acres, Section 16, plus 80 acres Section 21 in DeWitt Township. John later resided on the George Jacob HEPFER homestead.
John died 28 January 1920 and was buried at the Hurd Cemetery in DeWitt Township, Clinton, Michigan.
Christina A. STABLER was born 28 March 1846 in Michigan and died 23 June 1916. Christina was buried at the Hurd Cemetery in DeWitt Township, Clinton, Michigan.
To this union five children were born.
